A Consumer Support Group

Meetings typically include a devotional time, discussion of current issues/concerns, reflections on topics of mutual interest, and sharing of ideas on coping with problems. The emphasis is on discovery of new avenues for expressing self and faith. Support for one another and assistance with developing systems of support are emphasized. Meetings are designed to serve the dual purpose of providing a positive social experience while at the same time refining skills/attitudes related to offering and receiving support. Participants choose a level of involvement that is comfortable for them.
