Individuals come together to develop their own personal recovery and wellness plans. Recovery means finding value in oneself, rediscovering interests and abilities, and staying out of crisis. This WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Planning) workshop is co-led by a staff member and a person in recovery, who is a WRAP graduate. The class meets for seven sessions to discuss the following topics: daily maintenance, triggers, early warning signs, when things are breaking down, crisis planning, and post crisis planning. This tool, developed by Mary Ellen Copeland, is being used across the nation as individuals with mental illness gain more control of their own lives and recovery.
“WRAP is an excellent planning tool. It has been a tremendous guide in my personal life.”
